Opis stanowiska / Job description:

  • Implements policies and procedures defined for the Division and/or for the Plant
  • Draws, plans, implements and reviews the strategy for the department, in agreement with Plant Manager
  • Reviews the strategy map yearly and report its progress
  • Manages the human resources, equipment, materials and information, to reach the highest level of rationalization and effectiveness;
  • Ensures fulfilling conditions for high levels of Hygiene, Safety, GMP`s and Environment;
  • Takes care of adequate level of safety for workers as well as for equipment and installations;
  • Improves and promotes the evaluation and control of the production equipment and procedures, guaranteeing high levels of safety and productivity. Promotes improvement plans, to a continuously process optimization;
  • Promotes a zero-defect culture among plant team;
  • Is responsible for execution and records of preventive maintenance plan and corrective maintenance;
  • Coordinates the department, defining the priorities and designing the corrective actions and adjusting to the production plan;
  • Coordinates the departments, defining all organization and methods of work, always following the standard procedures to obtain the best results;
  • Develops a continuous pursuing and analysing of productivity ratios of the lines according with the standards and commitments established with the production team, to improve the benefits to the company and give an excellent service to the customer;
  • Motivates all operations related teams;
  • Cooperates with the Engineering department, in the definition of action plan which support the improvement of the existing conditions (equipment, installations, training, etc.), implementing new projects, as well as developing operative procedures;
  • Cooperates with the Technical & Quality departments, fulfilling the technical specifications of products and good manufacturing practices defined by them, including, supporting the analysis of the non-conformities implementing the correction actions plan;
  • Supports the process of New Products Introduction, headed by Project Managers, guaranteeing proper implementation of new products and eventually, equipment;
  • Represents the plant during Customer visits (and audits), guaranteeing senior operations representation as well as proper planning of required resources for the event, normally in alignment with other departmental managers;
  • Aligns with Supply Chain the proper functioning of materials availability for production, to keep high levels of production efficiency;
  • Any other that is required by hierarchic or functional superior

Kogo szukamy / Profile description:

  • Higher education, preferable engineering degree with post-graduation in business administration
  • Minimum 5 years management experience in manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Financial awareness (P&L, budgets)
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of QMS, HSE aspects
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong people management skills: ability to build effective teams
