Sales Coordinator

Salary: 55000 Euro gross year

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Provide automotive component product quotations and support the commercial activities of Toyota Business, assisting the Toyota Sales Manager responsible for Toyota Motor Europe business.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fully understand Toyota quotation standard both in Japan and Europe.
  • Fully understand the business rules with Toyota both in Japan and Europe.
  • Collect necessary cost & price information from HQ in Japan and within other group companies.
  • Create Toyota OEM component quotation by using the quotation system.
  • Respond to customer requests for quotation (RFQ’s) & design change from the initial enquiry through to the submission of prices using the procedures within the Sales Enquiry System (SES), ensuring that all quotations include the relevant SES reference.
  • Raise, monitor and maintain customer enquiry records for all enquiries.
  • Understand the cost effect of design changes in sufficient detail to be able to justify them to the customer.
  • Maintain price tracking documents on a monthly basis, including agreed price change adoption timing, design level & copper level.
  • Send confirmed order prices, notification of price changes and notification of any commercial terms to the finance department as required.
  • Purchase order acknowledgments (POA) to be sent to the customer.
  • Agreed order prices to be loaded on to the company sales system in accordance with SES procedures.
  • Manage and control price information and support Toyota Account Manager for the annual price review with customer Toyota.
  • Collect necessary information and raise compensation claim to Toyota
  • Collect necessary information and create tooling quotation to Toyota
  • Support project development as a liaison between Japan.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS:

  • A degree of flexibility to travel within Europe to support meetings / reviews in office and customer sites.
  • To satisfy customer & company confidentiality requirements, ensuring conformance with company anti-trust compliance guidelines & rules at all times.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Fluent English speaker.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via email, telephone etc.
  • Knowledge of company procedures is desirable.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
  • Basic communication in Japanese would be desirable.
