Regional Payments Manager

As the Regional Payments Manager you are responsible together with your team for providing support around and related to Clinical Trial Management System (mCTMS) and procurement system payment, mainly issue resolution around the payments. You will be responsible for CENA and RUT region (CEE, Sweden, South Africa, Russia, Ukraine and Turkey).

You will have a small team of Contracts & Grants Payments Coordinators. You will be responsible for their training as well as for training the study teams relating to payment support and processes. You will act as liaison among colleagues within Contracts & Grants (C&G) and study teams to assist with complex issue resolution. Between your responsibilities will be also management of the end-to-end investigator/site payment processes and payment calculations, including populating CTMS visit templates, suppliers, purchase orders, payment and clinical trial payments.


  • Process Ownership for all processes regarding Contracts & Grants (C&G) payments
  • Ability to develop deep insights into the process to be able to shape and continuously improve them
  • Help with issue resolution of failed payments for the region including Purchase Requisitions (PR) and work with the other regions counterparts concerning global payments
  • Full people management responsibility, including performance and development of 2 team members
  • Train new Contracts & Grants team members on specific processes and technology related to payments
  • Train study teams regarding payment and issue resolution support that can be provided and regarding the specific processes
  • Act as a liaison among colleagues within Contracts & Grants including Clinical Grant Administrators (CGA) and study teams including Local Trial Managers (LTM) and Global Trial Managers (GTM) to assist with complex issue resolution and provide guidance related to payments


  • Previous experience 7 to 10 years in total from a similar position
  • We expect either payment experience preferably within health care industry or direct experience with clinical research payments
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with SAP or Arriba is an advantage
