We are an international pioneering technology leader that is writing the future of industrial digitalization. One of our key ambitions is to get faster and leaner, and to move closer to the customer. Therefore we are consolidating our internal services into a world-class Global Business Services (GBS) organization, with the largest center located in Krakow.
To strengthen our Transport Management Team, we are looking for a Transport Planner responsible for ensuring a high level of service and cost effective movement of goods for the customer. Seize this unique opportunity to take an active part in shaping our new GBS center and grow together with the rapidly developing organization.

• Maintain communication with transport service providers to place transport orders, receive confirmation, monitor important milestones
• Plan and optimize multi-leg (e.g. ocean and airfreight) and multi-segment (e.g. stop-offs) shipments.
• Manage and dispatch local fleet operations in any areas they are present. Ensure that drivers are monitored and that customer service is provided on any local delivery needs and on all dedicated business.
• Understands different planning techniques including the functionality of transport management systems and load planning tools
• Local transport market knowledge including equipment, port and airport operations as well as relevant restrictions and regulations
• Carrier operating model knowledge
• Ability to justify cost overruns when they occur

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or logistics management from an accredited university/college, freight forwarding degree, or 2 years of experience in transportation/supply chain experience is preferred
• Related experience in transport management or freight forwarding highly advantageous, knowledge of transportation rules and regulations is a plus
• Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple time sensitive tasks in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in English (C1) and Spanish or German or Czech (B2/C1)
• Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with customers as well as fleet provider personnel
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Team player with flexibility in working different shifts
• Experience in working with advanced TMS platforms such as Oracle TM, JDA TMS, INET, etc. preferred
